The forum has been removed

This domain previously carried a discussion forum for musicians, active in the early 2000s. All of it has been removed and every old address returns a "gone" response.

Why it was not restored

Two reasons, either of which would have been sufficient.

The posts were written by named individuals. Thousands of people asked questions and answered each other, and each message was somebody's own writing.

And the forum published contributors' email addresses in plain text, as forums of that period did. Restoring the archive would have put thousands of personal email addresses back online, for people who posted them two decades ago under conventions nobody understood at the time. Many of those addresses are probably still in use.

That is a direct harm to living people, and it is not outweighed by the archive's value.

What this site is now

A collection of notes on skills assessment: what predicts job performance, how to design a selection process, and what it cannot do.

It has no connection to the previous material.
